$253 million allocated to climate-resilient infrastructure in Africa

A great opportunity for Israeli companies that specialize in food production to contribute to WFP's efforts to fight hunger and improve people's lives. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is looking for a wide range of suppliers to support its humanitarian programs worldwide. These include suppliers of food products, such as cereals, pulses, fortified foods, and specialized nutritional products, as well as suppliers of non-food items, such as vehicles, communications equipment, fuel, and medical supplies as well as service providers in fields like information technology, consulting, construction, and engineering.
By becoming a WFP supplier, Israeli companies of all sizes and types, including small and medium-sized enterprises, can make a difference and help address one of the world's most pressing challenges.
IFDC is looking for seed and fertilizer companies to provide their products for use in Africa.
The products will be utilized to develop more effective use of seeds and fertilizers and production technologies, including marketing and information systems to smallholder farmers in Africa.
Israeli businesses can now participate in the MCC program to combat global poverty through investments in agriculture, energy, health, and infrastructure. MCC selects partners based on good governance, economic freedom, and citizen investment. Businesses can benefit from MCC's tools, such as Country Scorecards and Monitoring & Evaluation Plans, to measure and transparently report results. MCC develops programs with eligible countries, creating opportunities for Israeli businesses to engage with an established U.S. foreign assistance agency and contribute to poverty reduction efforts.
